What do you mean by “a conscious approach to sustainability”?
We aim to press all our records to the highest standards of quality while minimising waste and maximising sustainability in every aspect of the manufacturing process. Not easy to do but it’s something we are 100% mindful of.
- We engineered the complete factory with new and energy-efficient machinery. The cooling- and steam-generating system works in a closed circle allowing us to re-use the excess steam over and over.
- That’s why we are using green electricity - Powered by biogas from Germany.
- The PVC we chose is manufactured upon calcium zinc stabilizers rather than classic heavy metal stabilizers.
- We use environmentally friendly FSC-certified Tullis Russell labels, GSM inner sleeves and thick 300 or 350 GSM cardboard covers.
- We are aware that servers consume a lot of energy and choose some which are powered by solar and wind energies.
- Our data traffic, visitors’ consumption and servers are Co2 neutral, thanks to our partner:
Climate initiative "CO2 neutral websites". The carbon emissions from both the website and the users of the website have been neutralized by the building of new renewable energy sources, various CO2 reducing projects and by the purchase of certified CO2 offsets, which are cleared by the relevant government institutions.
- Our Eco+ 50 shrink wrap material is made of 50% PCR contents - it contains recycles from end user waste. For example yellow bag or yellow can. The technical term is Post-Consumer Recycling. (PCR).
- We are using 100% recycled Inka pallets made from moulded, recycled scrap wood, unlike wooden pallets made from boards - they are even lighter, which reduces the co2 expedition emissions.
- Our granulator machines allow us to have a 0% PVC waste policy and recycle every single PVC waste into new records.
- We remove the labels from mispressed vinyl and turn the remaining vinyl part into recycled granulate.
- We ship our packages 100% carbon neutral and offer a number of options for minimizing and/or avoiding logistics-related emissions, waste and other environmental impacts for your finished records

What is bleed ?
In the printing world, bleed is a very important concept that deals with the edges of paper and how it is printed or cut. Bleed is Ink that prints beyond the trim edge of the page to ensure it extends to the edge of the page after trimming. To prevent small white gaps at the edge of your print, it is required that all graphics around the edge of the page extend at least 1/8″ past the cut lines.
If we print your vinyl labels all the way to the edges of your template, they will likely end up appearing slightly cut off in the final product. Understanding bleed margins help prevent this problem by expanding the text or image outside of the designated printed area, resulting in a polished and professional final product.
Every Objects template has guidelines to indicate how much bleed you need to add to your layouts in order to be safe. In order to avoid project delays and cost overruns, only use our supplied templates.
What’s the difference between true black and rich black?
In print there are two main ways in which the colour black is displayed. The simplest is considered ‘true/plain black’, or 100% black ink of CMYK (0C, 0M, 0Y, 100K). On the other hand, you may wish to create your artwork using a mixture of solid black over one or more of the other CMYK colours, resulting in a darker tone than black ink alone – this is referred to as ‘rich black’.
